The nanoScan3 is small enough to fit underneath a standard pallet! The dimensions measure 4.20 inches W x 3.15 inches H x 4.63 inches D (106.6 mm W x 80 mm H x 117.5 mm D), including system plug.

Extremely robust

With highly reliable and precise localization technology, the SICK nanoScan3 is super configurable and easy to use. Equipped with the patented scan technology safeHDDM®, the nanoScan3 uses numerous laser pulses to accurately detect objects within its environment. 

With HDDM®, or High Definition Distance Measurement, the nanoScan3 successfully filters out noise created by particulate in the air, ambient light, and other safety laser scanning devices.

The SICK nanoScan3 has a scanning angle of 275 degrees from center and a field range of 3 meters (9.8 feet). With up to 128 freely configurable monitoring scenarios, the nanoScan3 enables fluid movements and flexible routes for precise, real-time hazard avoidance.

This makes the nanoScan3 ideal for safety and localization of mobile platforms, small automated guided cart-vehicles and mobile robots.
