By employing a Kollmorgen DH143M GOLDLine DDR motor and and Kollmorgen S620 Drive Amplifier, our customer was able to achieve indexing speeds and accuracy that are unrivaled. Keep in mind, this configuration does not employ the use of a gearhead.

The image to the right shows a 48" diameter index table with 96 steel pegs. Each peg is stationed at a 3.75° interval. The total weight of the table is 250 pounds. The total inertia generated is 15 lb-ft-s².
